How to Join Cronulla Crays

Nippers is designed to teach children the fundamentals of surf beach and open water safety in a fun and safe environment .Any child between 5 and 13 is welcolme to join Cronulla Crays.

The Blue Fins program aims to give young people with disabilities beach safety and water awareness skills and offers inclusion within our mainstream groups.

To join for the 2019/20 season please complete the following steps

Step 1: Register and Pay Online

New Members

New members must register in person on one of the three registration dates.  Prospective members must bring proof of age – either passport or birth certificate on the day.

Renewals

We will only be accepting renewals online for the 2019/20 season.

  1. Go to the SLSA Members Area
  2. Login using your existing account (use reset links if you have forgotten your username or password). If you don’t have an account, create a new account.
  3. Once logged in navigate to the Memberships menu then click renew.
  4. Review and update your personnel details and click submit. Please ensure your contact details are correct as this is how we will provide you information.
  5. Click on Make A Payment to pay the fees.

The SLSA Members Area also gives members the ability to access all awards, patrols, and rosters.

Active Kids Voucher

Cronulla Nippers now accepts Active Kids Program Vouchers. Vouchers can be redeemed during the online renewals through the SLSA Members Area.

Step 2: Attend a Registration Day

Registration and swim proficiencies will be held at the Cronulla Sports Complex on the following dates from 12pm-3pm. Online registration and payment needs to be received prior to attending a registration day and completing proficiency swim (please allow a few days to process)

  • 7th September 2019
  • 15th September 2019
  • 21st September 2019

New member registrations must bring proof of age – either passport or birth certificate and register in person on one of the three Registration Dates.

Returning and new members in the Under 8s to Under 14s must complete their Pool and Ocean Swim Proficiency requirements on one of the three Registration and Proficiency dates above. Please bring swimwear, googles and towel.

Apparel will also be available for sale.

Change of Details

Changes can be made via the SLSA Members Area or alternatively, please advise the registrar registrar@cronullanippers.com.au

Parent Membership

  • One parent of each child is required to become a member of the Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club
  • The nominal fee is to cover insurances and SRC training costs
  • Due to Surf Life Saving Regulation, insurance, and child protection protocols, any parent that holds a Committee or Group Leader position or who assists in any way that involves direct interaction with children MUST join the Club
